Where you’re at now is where you need to be.
Since the beginning of our lives, we are placed into a timeline. We are expected to accomplish things at a very specific age.
We are expected to graduate on time, start college right away, get a job, get married before “it’s too late”, have kids right away. What I am trying to say is that we are expected to be at a certain point in our life based on a timeline set by this world.
The thing is— Our plan doesn’t always align with God’s plan. That’s when we feel left behind. We begin to notice those around us moving at a faster speed; achieving goal after goal, finishing college before us, getting engaged, getting married, and we can’t help it but wish we were there already.
But it doesn’t mean that they are ahead of you.
We try to reach the end without going through the process. We rush what needs patience.
Today I want you to think of all that you are instead of all that you’re not, because all that you are now is who you’re supposed to be in this season of your life.
When God gives you authority to move forward, you will become who you’re supposed to be then. Enjoy where God has you right now, because you wont be here for long.
