4th of July fun

I like to keep things simple but fun. I want to share two of my favorite 4th of July goodies that everyone seems to enjoy. You will not need to spend a lot of time or money doing these and they will be something that will give your 4th of July some color and sweetness.

Who doesn’t like chocolate covered strawberries? I love them and can never just have one. With this super simple way to decorate them with the red, white and blue spirit, you will have a delightful snack to share with all the family.

You will need:

Strawberries

White chocolate

red/blue sprinkles

The process is super simple. I like to add about half of the chocolate into a bowl. I put it into the microwave for about 1 min. Mix it and microwave for another minute or so.

Make sure that the strawberries are completely dry before you dip them in the chocolate. If they aren’t, the chocolate wont stick to the strawberries. I like to use a toothpick to hold them and dip them. While the chocolate is still drying, I like to sprinkle the color on. Be creative. Mix them or just make them one color.

Add a flag to make it patriotic

For the drink, all you will need:

Sprite

Bomb Pop

Cute straws

mason jar

optional: Alcohol beverage to spice it up

To prepare:

Add cold sprite (make sure that you cool it before serving) into a mason jar. Add your bomb pop, a cute straw, and it’s ready to go. Kids AND adults will love it. It’s refreshing and fun. The bomb pop will add color to the sprite making it the most patriotic drink you will have all day!!!

Be safe and enjoy the day with your family and friends!!!

Happy 4th of July
