Okay, let’s be real. Does that verse describe every woman out there? In reality it does, because it comes from the word of God and everything he says is true.
However, we live in a world that as women we are constantly being told who we should be rather than who we are. We are influenced by men, social media, books and even other women.
We are given the freedom to be who we choose to be, but we are given a limit of how strong and successful we can be.
Slowly this barrier has been torn down, but not completely. We are still seen as the weaker sex. More than often we are seen as less than men.
It saddens me to think that some people still see us women that way. It breaks my heart to know that we are capable of so much, yet we believe the lies that stand in front of us.
I know I have believed that I can’t be as successful because of my weaknesses. I know that I have set limits to my abilities because I am scared sometimes.
But that verse is a reminder to all women. It’s a reminder that we are capable. We are that woman that is being described. Alone we are not strong, but who is?
God puts his strength in us, allowing us to remove that limit set by this world.
Whenever you feel that you are not able or capable of doing something, or you’re just struggling (cause man is it hard being an adult and especially when you’re a woman) Just open your bible and read that verse. Let God remind you of who YOU are.
Because you are strong, capable, full of dignity and the Lord holds your future, which means great things are coming your way!!
