First of all I want to disclose that I am not a dermatologist or an esthetician. These are just recommendations that I want to share and have worked for me and I believe that everyone should add them to their skincare routine.
Let’s get started:
1. Retinol- Retinol is Vitamin A. It is used to reduce the appearance of wrinkles, clears skin, and cures acne. It promotes production of regenerated collagen to produce healthier skin, with less pigmentation and dark spots.
I use Retinol from The ordinary. I apply it every night before all my other creams and let it sit for a few minutes. I have noticed such a difference in my skin since I added this amazing product to my skin care routine.
2. Eye Cream or Eye serum- The ordinary has a caffeine solutions for under eyes. It is gentle and has improved the appearance of dark circles. Studies have shown that topical use of caffeine and EGCG can help reduce the look of puffiness and dark circles around the eye contour
I use it every morning and night and have noticed an incredible difference.
3. Sun screen- this is by far the most important. Sun screen protects your skin and if you start using retinol, your skin is extra sensitive. You will have to add it to your skincare.
Sunscreen also helps with preventing dark circles, wrinkles and aging skin.
I use the Neutrogena sunscreen, it is soft and gentle on my skin. I apply it every morning.
