How to keep your hair clean without washing it- Products that you need

I am the queen of dry shampoo and going as long as possible without washing my hair. Since I have been doing this for a long time, I have some tips and some products that I would love to share with you.

1. Shampoo- It all starts here. You have to make sure that you find the shampoo that best fits your hair type and that will keep you hair fresh for as long as possible. I use shampoo from Aveda. I understand that it’s more on the expensive side so I alternate with Not Your Mothers Brand which is amazing and it always leaves my hair clean.

2. After wash products- Make sure that you have the right products after you wash your hair. You need to make sure that you get products that will not make your hair greasy. Some of my favorite products are from Not your Mothers, Ouai and living proof. I apply a leave in conditioner and the style extender from living proof.

3. Dry shampoo- Dry shampoo will be your best friend. You will need to apply it every day in order to keep the grease off. A very fun trick that I love to share with everyone is to apply dry shampoo before bed. During the night the dry shampoo will absorb all the oils and in the morning your hair will feel clean. Make sure to add some more dry shampoo in the morning. My favorite dry shampoos are from Not Your Mothers and IGK.

4. Heat protectant- We have to protect our hair. I put on hair protectant even if I am not going to use any hot tools. I want to make sure that my hair is protected at all times. For years, I have been using Not Your Mothers heat protectant..

I hope you enjoyed and I hope that you try the products that have worked so well for me.
