How to Journal and what you need

Let me begin with this; Journaling is different for everyone and there is no right or wrong way to do it. Just have fun with it.

Journaling is very basic and easy. You just have to be able to find your style of doing it. Everyone has different ways to put their thoughts into writing. There’s people that like a plain notebook, others like to decorate it, others like to doodle and the most recent is a digital one. I have tried all and I just wanted to share some tips and ideas that have helped and worked for me.

I like to decorate my journals. I use a variety of items to decorate such as stickers, decals, paper, washing tape, etc.

over the years, I have accumulated a lot of fun things to use, all from getting them on sale at Hobby Lobby or wherever I have the opportunity to do so.

Writing Tools

decide what writing tools you want to use or whether you want to be switching it up or staying with the same tools.

I love to use gel pens. My set of gel pens are from Costco from a few years back.

I also use permanent markers. Mine are from Costco as well. Costco usually has a some great deals on items like these.

Decorations

You will need to decide if you want to decorate your note books or just keep them simple.

I have this flower cutter and what I do is buy some pretty paper from Hobby lobby and just cut a bunch of flowers up. Once i have a variety of different ones, I take them with double sided tape and make pretty arrangements on my notebooks.

I also like to use washi tape. It gives the borders of the journals such a cute style. I just love the fun girly colors.

stickers will also be your best friend. There are so many different kinds of stickers. You will be able to find every kind of theme of sticker to decorate and give your journals some color. There are stickers from color, flowers, letters, travel. Anything you can think of, you will find. I usually get my stickers from Hobby Lobby as well.

NOTEBOOKS

You will want to buy the notebook that you will love. I get mine from Tjmaxx, online, or Hobby Lobby. I have a ton of notebooks. Some I like to decorate and some I leave black and white. Here are a variety of my notebooks and how I decorate them
